Hey all you lovely people! I knew, and you probably knew, that there would be a time when I would come back to photography. It has been almost a good year off and have had time to get settled into as much of a routine as possible with 3 little boys, moving houses, busy husband at work, and a great summer! I have also had lots of time to think about what taking photos means to me and how I can enjoy this hobby as well as share the outcomes with you all. I am making some changes in the way I photograph and the way I take on these crazy sessions. There will be less props but that doesn't mean it will take away from the creativity of your pictures. In fact, I believe that most of the time all you need for a good photograph are people you love surrounding you, a good setting, and someone that has the eye to capture the moments (me!). All the pricing can be found on the Q/A area, and the time between taking the photos and having them in your hands is still about 2 weeks. My at home studio sessions are going to be a rarity as outdoor sessions are much more feasible for my family and myself at this time. I still love a good newborn session and have recently found out that some of the best photos taken are in the comfort of your own home...so be prepared for me to invade your place! I will have some fall mini-sessions coming up to kick start all the fun again...so be watching for dates! Please see the questions and answers section of the blog to see more details concerning prices, props, and types of sessions.

Hey ya'll. I have been getting several inquiries on new clients and I am VERY appreciative of the referrals. I apologize however, I am not taking any new clients and/or few old client sessions at this time. Not to get too personal (even though you all probably know us) my husband's job as increased it's demand (of him) greatly and scheduling for photo shoots and extra time to edit is very difficult. My three boys are understanding of the time needed to edit, but that is something else I feel that I am taking from them...my time! At this moment I feel the need to be more involved in their lives. I am hoping with the new school year and my husbands training slowing down I will be able to pick photography back up. I do miss it and can't wait to get back to it!! Thanks for undersanding friends, you will be the first to know when I am back!

Seriously, isn't 9 months old the best age? They are almost a toddler, yet still baby enough to need momma. I can't wait to see what this little gal looks like when she is older. What a beautiful girl with a growing spunky personality. There were some sweet momentos in this shoot. Momma's wedding shoes and her first bracelet. Oh what fun to be a little girl!
What a treat being able to take pictures of a friends little girl. This princess has two older brothers, so I am living through my friend as if I had a little girl:-) She was pretty good for us considering she was almost two weeks old, and her oldest brother couldn't get enough of her. Love it!!

The title of this post really describes this session. I could not get over what a great smile this little guy had and how contagious it was! He didn't mind us taking many pictures in different outfits, very fun boy! Thank you for letting me capture this awesome smilely boy!
